Tutorial - Structure of Rotation

Information input into is made through a sequence of eight independent data input pages.

While initial establishment of your farm will follow a standard sequence of inputs set out in the tutorial “Getting Started”, subsequent runs of the model, updating data with regular use does not need to be sequenced in any special order.

Tips and Actions

Each input page has a standard format with Tips and Actions at the top and the data entry below.

The Action Buttons

All data is entered into your database by clicking  at the bottom of each entry box.

At the bottom of each page is a  button to Run the simulation. However, the simulation only needs to be Run when all relevant data has been entered in the eight data input pages.

Within certain limits the input boxes are designed to reject anomalous entries but you are reminded that errors in input will equal errors in output.

Input Errors Easily Recovered

The programs are robust and although incorrect data entry will produce inaccurate reports such wild entries will do no harm to your database or the simulation program. Recovery is simply checking and re-entering the correct data. .
